I will NOT fall for slogans….whether they win or not”.

I will NOT vote for a candidate merely because my dislike for one candidate overshadows my dislike for another candidate.

I will NOT Vote the “Party Line” if I do NOT agree with it.

I believe a vote for an alternate candidate, WINS, whether they win or not because major numbers for a portion indicates dissatisfaction with the whole.

I too am voting “Green”. ~~dru~~

If you agree with chuq or me, whether you are voting; Green, Libertarian, or Write-in; Please pass this on by a re-blog, printing and handing out, or just plain talking….

In Saner Thought

The key word in the title is N-O-T!

As I predicted I have been hit with a bit of a BS thing when people learn that I am leaning for an alternative candidate….in my case it is Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party.

I have been getting the usual cowardly predictions of doom and gloom if I vote that way….or that I am crazy for not following the sheep and voting for one of the worthless candidates we have this time.  I vote for issues and principles…I care NOTHING for rhetoric.

First let me say…BITE ME!  It is my vote and I will give it to whoever I want.  Plus I refuse to let some nose picking ass scratcher dictate to me when it comes to voting.

If Americans truly cared about their country then they would research what is best before voting….but they had rather let some mental…

How do I know you haven’t posted an article, that in itself is not disinformation but as written from the US point of view. How do I know you are not a Troll by accident? I mean this type of propaganda has always existed; the goals are just different depending on the circumstances.

I am re-blogging this post because I find the content and the article thought provoking and so, I already “found” this article in the New York Magazine for 6/7/2015. That isn’t the date of the article but it is close and maybe the one you referenced was the on-line version.

I believe this to be an authentic article and also found the author contributes to the New Yorker Magazine too but after your last post and now this one; I’m getting paranoid.

Before we fly off “half cocked” we should consider the source. Since this came from you and your site, I perfectly sure I could re-blog with confidence but your article made me think and now, if not opinion and stated as such or not personal poetry, prose, or just plain comedic content. I’m checking the source.

Thank you for posting two fascinating articles.

From Business Insider

Russian internet trolls — paid by the Kremlin to spread false information on the internet — have been behind a number of “highly coordinated campaigns” to deceive the American public.

It’s a brand of information warfare, known as “dezinformatsiya,” that has been used by the Russians since at least the Cold War. The disinformation campaigns are only one “active measure” tool used by Russian intelligence to “sow discord among,” and within, allies perceived hostile to Russia.

“An active measure is a time-honored KGB tactic for waging informational and psychological warfare,” Michael Weiss, a senior editor at The Daily Beastand editor-in-chief of The Interpreter — an online magazine that translates…

Queen are a British rock band that formed in London in 1970. Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar). Queen’s earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock andheavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock, into their music.

Yes I’m a BIG Queen fan and whenever I’m asked what my favorite Queen song is I say; “Whichever one they are playing” and then go off into my head for a Rock ‘n Roll Flashback.  It is my opinion that because Freddy was sooooooo very Mercurial**, the Band didn’t get as much credit as they should have…..Mercury; the god of eloquence, skill, trading, and thieving and the herald and messenger of the godsMercury-statue

  1. (of a person) subject to sudden or unpredictable changes of mood or mind:
  2. of or containing the element mercury.
  3. of the planet Mercury.

Now don’t get me wrong the Band was well thought of always well reviewed, most everyone loved them but Freddy just stole the show.

While the reviews for Queen were amazing; you get so caught up in Freddy’s voice and stage personae that sometimes the band just took a back seat.

Like I said, I LOVE everything that Queen performed but it seems to me like the band would shine more in the covers like the ones I adore below.
