Cuddled into my neck,
his little purr-pot body against my ear,
I’ve grown quite fond of the “Kitten eeMGee”.
Too bad he just wants me to feed him,
instead of being happy to see me.

Living with my daughter’s 3 cats for a few years, I think it’s both. Feeding first and happy love petting later.
Yup, that works for my little guy. Even if I don’t immediately get up and feed him, he will settle down to a real sleep but it takes some time. THANX for stopping by. ~~dru~~
I think it’s both, too! When I had been on a longish trip and a family member watched ny cats, and then when I came back, the younger kitty (6 months), climbed all over me purring, cause she was so happy to see me… 🙂 I bet your kitty loves you too. 💜😊

The phrase “little purr-pot body” is a great way to describe a kitten.
It does exactly describe what it feels and sounds like while he is pressed against my ear. Smallest kitten left of the last bunch but the biggest purr. However there are times when even the oldest have purr-pot bodies too. At least the ones that sit on me. Ooooo and here he comes again must be time for elevenesses and its only 9am.
