Guess what, I read a book today! It was the first in a long time, I basically stopped reading when I got so depressed a few years ago and then my cataracts got so bad. I’ve had both cataracts removed but I never started reading books again.
It was only small compilation of Nero Wolfe stories from the 1940s but it was reading, however my eyes burned and hurt (and so did my head) after I got through. I guess I need reading glasses as well as my regular glasses. Reading others short blog posts doesn’t hurt as much and neither does watching TV as both activities are a little further away than a book. Bradbury would be ashamed of me. ~~dru~~

There is very little green in our lawn as I don’t water it anymore, saving $$$ and water here in droughty California but there are patches of green in the yard because of the weeds; bless their pointy heads. ~~dru~~
