It looks like it will make the 110 mark around 2 pm today with only a small area of cloud cover. Gonna be one of those gawd awful days. I’m on pet duty so I’ll go over and let the 3 dogs in with the 2 cats later this afternoon for a couple of hours. I can’t nap during that indoor break because the dogs may chase the new cat and I can’t let the cat out cuz it might not come back in since it doesn’t know me…………..sigh
I’ve already been over this morning for the AM run and everyone was fine. Treats and water check for the dogs and a morning nosh for the cats, then dogz back out and catz stay in.

At 10 PM last night in Northern California, the temperature was 93 F.
UgH! Our night was bad too and the window A/C is basically shot. I hardly slept and now I want a nap but have pet duty again in 2 hours. ~~dru~~
We’re already worried about our electricity bills…….. 85 F to 90 F inside the house without a/c.
Same here even with two window A/Cs that pull tons of electricity. First you freeze your you knows off in winter then you sweat like a pig and your eyes burn in summer.
I can’t maintain a logical thought process and eat out too often to use some one else’s A/C. tee hee.

Storms just rolled through so it cooled down to 80 with 100% humidity. As soon as the rest of the clouds bounce through it will go back up above 90 with 100% humidity. Kitties are all tucked in bed and asleep. They only go out after midnight and want back in at 5 Am. After that they consider themselves house kitties. They refuse to go outside.
Yesterday I made applesauce brand bread and the kitties sat in the kitchen during the whole time waiting to see what that smell was all about. I kept stepping on them but they persisted on staying in my small trailer kitchen. When they are in and I am cooking they are under my feet. The really big one puts his paws on the counter between me and the sink while I wash dishes then bends his head back to watch me just like a 2 year old. I splash a little water on him and he runs but comes right back and squirms between me and the counter.
Positively pastoral. I’ll take my zero humidity over your 100 % humidity any day. TAKE CARE my Momoe and enjoy you applesauce bread. I pant and want a nap! ~~dru~~
